Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises(MSME) is same as the Small-Scale Industries(SSI) and now a days it is also known as Udyog Aadhaar. MSME or SSI enterprises which are registered under (MSMED) Act 2006, gets various benefits by the Government of India.It is a unique 12 digit Government identification number issued by the Ministry of MSME for all small and medium enterprises and small scale industries. In the manufacturing Industries MSME have much more advantages.
MSME is classified under two types of sectors i.e. manufacturing sector and service sector.
Manufacturing Sector: Those enterprises which have invested less than Rs. 25 lakhs in plant and machinery are known as Micro Enterprises, investment lies between Rs. 25 lakhs and Rs. 5 crores are said to be Small enterprises, invest between Rs. 5 crores to Rs. 10 crores called Medium enterprises.
Service Sector: Those enterprises which have invested less than Rs.10 lakhs in equipmentsare known as Micro Enterprises, investment lies between Rs. 10 lakhs and Rs. 2 crores are said to be Small enterprises, invest between Rs.2 crores to Rs. 5 crores called Medium enterprises.

In MSME registration, firstly we collect all the necessary information and documents for the registration. Documents should be self-attested.
After receiving all the necessary documents we prepare the require papers and do online application on Udyog Aadhar Site, and submit application.
After applying for MSME, officer will check all given information with attached documents, if they will satisfy with it then they issue MSME certificate. If they have any query then they sent application back for resubmission with necessary corrections. This process usually takes 2-3 days.
